It's all about the middle class...

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer came out today and stated that tax increases will eventually be necessary to address the nation's current debt problem. As we all know the current tax breaks that were implemented under President Bush are going away at the end of this year and the current administration is unsure if those will be renewed or extended.

If I remember correctly, one of the biggest items that President Obama ran on was not raising taxes. Another day, another broken promise. I am sorry to say that the debt problem has continued to skyrocket since the day he took office. The bureaucrats spend it and we foot the bill with a new or increased tax which by the way is enacted by the very people that are so carelessly spending our money. The idea of a VAT tax is already being tossed around in the US and Britain just announced that they are raising their VAT tax to %20. Where does it end.

So who is this going to affect? You and I. The middle class, the group of taxpayers that keep this nation ticking. The group that has the final say so in the election process(or so we are taught anyways), the group that pays the bills and buys the goods. They are coming for more of our money and they are going to take it by any means necessary, even if that means you cannot put food on the table. The government is out of control and the poor and middle class are going to be destroyed even further because of it.
